Hatha yoga is a gentle, slower paced yoga class focussing on the different poses (asanas) common to all forms of yoga.
This course is open to yoga practitioners of all levels and to anyone curious about Yoga in general. You don't need to be flexible to attend this Yoga. This is how you become flexible!
ABOUT JOLIE BROOK (OUR RESIDENT YOGA INSTRUCTOR)
Jolie formally trained as a dancer at the Centre for the Performing Arts, Adelaide. She has performed with contemporary dance companies Darc Swan Dance Co, One Extra Dance Co, Opera Australia, The Queensland Opera, New Zealand Opera and various freelance projects. To this day (since the year 2000) she continues to perform & has traveled extensively both Nationally & Internationally with the image based theatre company SMK 1.
Jolie completed her formal Yoga teacher training at Nature Care College (Advanced Diploma) alongside 23 years of ongoing committed practice with yoga teachers both here & abroad. She has studied many forms of Hatha yoga (incorporating Asana, Pranayama & Meditation) in particular Ashtanga, Anusara, Iyengar & Yoga Synergy styles. Instructing for the past 7 years, her ongoing classes vary from teaching the judges of the Supreme Court of NSW to teaching pre-professional dancers at Academy Ballet & Evolve Dance amongst others. We are delighted to exclusively host Jolie's "YOGA FOR POLE" classes at Pole Athletica.
