Let’s run away to the circus! LyraFit 2 is designed for students who feel confident with inverting and with good aerial awareness. This level focuses on more Intermediate skills, working towards increasing strength and further developing Lyra skills and technique. To be suitable for LyraFit 2, students need to be able to pull up into an Aerial V on the pole, or to have completed at least one term of LyraFit 1 and can complete a straddle invert to knee hang consistently without assistance. Lyra is a fantastic way to increase strength, flexibility and stamina, particularly for students already taking pole classes. You will learn how to fluidly move through various skills and key positions to explore aerial sequencing and develop endurance, creating beautiful shapes unique to this apparatus. You will also have the opportunity to play with doubles lyra skills, and more dynamic rolls, twists and drops. This course is a fun full body work-out designed for women and men of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. Some of the skills you can expect to learn in LyraFit 2 are: Elbow hangs, Crucifix, Running Man, Ankle Hang, Vertical Split, Shoulder Stand, Single Leg Hangs, Meathook, Russian Split.
