Foundational moves:

  • Handsprings, Extended Butterflies, Twisted Grip V, Jade Splits, Rag Dolls/Flares

What to aim for:

  • Nice shoulder alignment in handsprings/Twisted Grip V.
  • Good control through the lower abs and hips for movement such as Press Up V Handstands or Press Up V to Iguana

Challenging points:

  • Lack of flexibility required to achieve these skills and lack of core strength.

Cheats to avoid:

  • Should try and execute the skills with control.
  • Ensuring toes are pointed and legs extended when needed. The goal should be not to just tick the skill off a bucket list but to be able to perform it with ease, grace and control.
