I have never found any form of sport or exercise that I have enjoyed enough to want to commit to, and I have no desire to join the gym. I therefore never dreamed that after attending just one PoleFit Taster Session on a whim, that four months down the line I would still be hooked and continuing through the levels!
I do not have a lot of self-motivation when it comes to fitness, however, the classes are a lot of fun, and I therefore really enjoy the workout. More importantly by the end of each class I feel a real sense of achievement, and leave the studio buzzing (despite the aches and pains that will undoubtedly follow)!
The instructors are so friendly and full of encouragement and support; they cater to each individual's strengths and weaknesses, as well as developing your understanding of control, technique and strength. I am amazed at how much my arms, legs and butt have toned up already!
This is the first time in my life where I have actually stuck at something.
Thank you to Emily, and the rest of the girls at Studio Verve for providing classes which make you feel so comfortable, for combining fitness with fun, and for personally giving me the confidence in myself to accomplish so much more both physically and mentally than I could have ever imagined.
